چکیده

Low-frequency p-modes have relatively small amplitudes and are set against the background of granula-tion and active regions on the solar surface. We apply a number of time series analysis techniques to separate these modes from trends and the background. The calibrated signals of both the MDI and GOLF instruments are processed in the following steps: 1) whitening and gap lling; 2) signal extraction and de-modulation in given frequency bands; and 3) separation of noise and signal by Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA). The resulting signals are compared in the frequency and time domains. Particular attention is paid to spectral features at very low frequencies and the tentative identiication of low radial order p-modes.

Power spectra comparison between GOLF and spatially masked MDI velocity signals

The Global Oscillations at Low Frequency (GOLF) and the Michelson Doppler Imager (MDI) instruments aboard the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) give an excellent opportunity to search for solar low frequency oscillation modes previously undetected from ground based experiments. Presented here is a comparison of the velocity power spectra between the two instruments. In addition, this pa...

Comparison of Frequencies and Rotational Splittings of Solar Acoustic Modes of Low Angular Degree from Simultaneous Mdi and Golf Observations

During the years 1996 through 1998 the Michelson Doppler Imager (MDI) and the Global Oscillations at Low Frequency (GOLF) experiments on the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) mission have provided unique and nearly uninterrupted sequences of helioseismic observations. This paper describes the analysis carried out on power spectra from 759 days of calibrated disk-averaged velocity signal...

DEVELOPMENT OF A PHYSIOLOGICALLY BASED TOXICOKINETIC MODEL FOR HUMAN EXPOSURE RISK ASSESSMENT OF METHYLENE DIPHENYL DIISOCYANATE(MDI)

Introduction: Given the lack of a developed physiologically based toxicokinetic (PBTK) model for human systemic exposure assessment of methylene diisocyanate (MDI) and prediction of its urinary metabolites, this study aims to develop a PBTK model for exposure risk assessment of MDI. Methods and Materials: In this study, to assess the potential exposure to the MDI, a PBTK model was constructed ...

Simulation of resonance scattering helioseismometer signals from spatially resolved images: Application to the GOLF instrument on SOHO

A step in the analysis of the data from the GOLF (Global Oscillations at Low Frequency) instrument on SOHO (SOlar and Heliospheric Observatory, an ESA/NASA Mission) involves the calculation of the sensitivity of the GOLF signal to the velocity at each point on the solar surface. A successful model of this sort will permit the intercomparison of data from the spatially resolved MDI (Michelson Do...

Golf Coaches Use Tacit Knowledge to Improve Transfer Performance: Understanding the Mediating Role of Transfer Capacity in Golf Coaching

Background. Golf is relatively new in China, and overall playing skills are low. Although golf coaches are vital in improving golf skills, their teaching skills are underdeveloped. Objectives. This study aims to explore how the coach’s tacit knowledge affects the transfer performance by exploring the factors that affect the teaching ability of Chinese golf coaches. It aims to improve the teach...
